The meeting was called to order by President Jim McCullough at 6:30ish PM.
OTHER BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Don Nelson, Bob Dunn, Terry Koehn, Brett Lenz, Tim Scheer
MEMBERS PRESENT: Several members were present including Rita Orr, Jim Beeghly, Tomasz and Izabela Korwel, Randy Stannard, Chris Lenz (acting secretary), Rick Treiber, and Mark Eads.
The Minutes of the January 13, 2010 Board of Directors meeting were not read, but they were approved anyway.
OLD AND NEW BUSINESS:
1. Don said the treasury is “struggling” due to poor weather.
2. Discussion held re ideas to promote flying. Tim moved with second by Don that we hold a flour drop/spot landing competition on Sunday, May 2, 2010. The rain date will be the next Sunday, May 9, 2010. Vote taken; Motion carried. A poker run is scheduled for June 6, 2010. We’ll try and arrange to have a Garmin navigation system as one of the prizes.
3. Discussion was held re time to start sending out fliers to schools re our annual scholarship program.
Bob moved with second by Tim to adjourn the meeting. Vote taken; Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 7:04 PM.
