The Minutes of the March 17, 2010 Board of Directors meeting were read. Bob Dunn moved with second by Brett Lenz that they be approved as corrected. Vote taken; Motion carried. The Minutes of the March 24, 2010 Board of Directors meeting were read. Bob Dunn moved with second by Brent Lenz that the minutes be approved as read. Vote taken; Motion carried.
OLD AND NEW BUSINESS:
1. Don Nelson reported that the Treasury is “a little better than it was last week.” Gaskets, etc. were ordered today; hopefully, we’ll get the Skyhawk back in a few days (or two weeks). The radio’s out of the Arrow and is ready to go to PSAir.
2. No new members were added to the roster this week.
3. Bob Dunn (one of our most active contributors to our scholarship program) has several new handmade wooden wall sculptures (bird on a teacup, lion, eagle in flight, etc.) for sale (some currently in display). As usual, Bob said he will donate the proceeds from the sale of his sculptures to the scholarship program.
4. Terry and Don reminded us that it will soon be time for the lawnmower to be buzzing around; all volunteers are welcome. Also, when the weather dries up a tad, we’ll need some members (and their chainsaws) to come out to take out more brush and trees at the end of RWY 33. We’ll schedule a clean-up day for some time in May.
