The meeting was called to order by President Jim McCullough at 6:30 PM.

The Minutes of the September 15, 2010 Board of Directors meeting were read. Don Nelson moved with second by Terry Koehn that the minutes be approved as read. Vote taken; Motion carried.
OLD AND NEW BUSINESS:
1. WELCOME BACK TOMASZ AND IZABELA KORWEL; WE MISSED YOU!!!
2. Don Nelson said that since the flying is down, the treasury is down, but “we’re surviving.”
3. Re last Saturday’s flyover during the antique car show in Swisher, Don Nelson said we had four old planes up, even though the weather was cloudy, rainy, and windy, everything went just fine, and that those involved had a good time.
4. The starter on the 180 is fixed, and the voltage regulator on the Skyhawk will be fixed in a couple of days.
5. Rick Treiber said that Dennis Green, KCCK’s station manager and MC at many local events, has volunteered to MC the concert honoring of Charles Wendt this Saturday. Stearman/T-6 rides offered by Dale Yoder and John Ockenfels, discussion was held re whether to raffle off the rides or hold a silent auction for them. We need people to help set this up for the concert, to take the donation buckets around at the concert, and to help with clean-up and taking the tent and stage down, etc. Dick Minette donated a case of wine for the concert. Of course, all proceeds from the concert go to the scholarship fund.
6. Tim Scheer said nothing’s new re the November 6 PumpkinSPLAT!. We’ll hold the annual stockholder meeting around 1:00 and the PumpkinSPLAT! will follow. We’ll probably eat picnic stuff between the two.
