Worlds Best Brats fly-in

Sunday, October 9th, 2011

Looking for places to go I’ve found that in Watertown, Wi they have a ‘World’s Best Brat’ competition that is being held on airport grounds. Great weather, perfect hours (for those who like to catch up on sleep during weekends) and free brat sampling was enough to convince me to hop in the Arrow with Iza and fly there. Winds were relatively light, air was smooth like glass. It took us just below 1.5h to get there (and less than 1.2 to get back). Brats looked (and tasted) great. See yourself:

I already put it on my calendar for next year :-)

2nd Annual GCAC Poker Run – June 5, 2011

Thursday, March 3rd, 2011

The 2nd Annual GCAC Poker Run has been finalized.  We will depart GCAC airport around 8:00am and head down the Washington Airport (KAWG) to attend their Flight Breakfast.  After that, you will have a list of airports to collect playing cards.  Get your final card when you return to GCAC before 4:00pm and then it’s time to get your Poker Face on.  The more airports you visit the greater the change of getting a winning hand.  More info will be available as we get closer to the event.
