Kristen’s first flight

Saturday was a very special day. One of our newest members, Kristen Hawkins, started her training and flew for the first time with Terry. As you can see she seems to be happy with the outcome. Her first word after landing says it all: “Awesome!”.

Spot landing contest results

Sunday’s spot landing contest revealed that we have couple of really good pilots in our club. Look at those results:

Here is how Tim Sheer landed:

And this is Terry’s best shot:

Both of them exactly on the spot. Each of them had to make second try to break the tie. In the end, with second landing 2ft closer than Tim’s, Terry won the competition.

Hangar Roof Completed – A glorius day

Thanks to great weather and crowd of helpers we were able to finish our roof project last Saturday. Big thank you to all that helped.

The last piece of rusty steel removed as the pizza arrives. No one stepped through the rotten bits of purling underneath.
