Pumpkin Splat

Tuesday, November 9th, 2010

The Pumpkin Splat turned out great. The weather was just perfect for outdoors activities. Many members showed up and did some flying. We even had four fly-in guests. A lot of family, friends and aviation fans showed up to drop a pumpkin on our brave “target team”. Some of them landed pretty close. The best score this year was just above 16ft. Take a look at the gallery of images, and if you were not there, regret dearly :) .

Spot landing contest results

Tuesday, November 9th, 2010

Sunday’s spot landing contest revealed that we have couple of really good pilots in our club. Look at those results:

Here is how Tim Sheer landed:

And this is Terry’s best shot:

Both of them exactly on the spot. Each of them had to make second try to break the tie. In the end, with second landing 2ft closer than Tim’s, Terry won the competition.

Congratulations!

Tribute concert photos

Saturday, October 2nd, 2010

The photos have been finally uploaded! If you did not attend our Tribute concert, you can take a look and the gallery here, to see what a great time we had, despite the weather being rather uncooperative last Saturday. If you have attended, and what to reminisce some, visit the gallery here, and try to find yourself on one of the audience panoramas.
