Flight incentive is back.

Sunday, April 3rd, 2011

We are happy to announce that the flight incentive is back.

After revising our current financial situation, the Board of Directors decided that we are able to offer a 5% credit to any member that will put an advance payment on his or hers account. To receive such credit the payment needs to fulfill following criteria:

  1. Member’s account needs to be in good standing order (0 or credit balance)
  2. To receive 5% credit, the payment needs to be in $1000 increments
  3. Payments will be accepted in the form of cash or check only

No limits will be imposed on spending received credit. It can be used to buy flight time, inventory items and to cover future membership dues as well.

New, more convenient way to pay membership dues

Thursday, December 16th, 2010

Catching up on the rest of the world, we are introducing easier and more convenient option to pay your membership dues. From now on instead of getting invoice for 6 month worth of dues twice a year you have the option to have your credit or debit card automatically charged every month for the amount equal to our monthly membership fee. Just like your phone bill, gym membership or Netflix subscription – no more invoices twice a year, no more big checks to write in ‘lean’ months.

So how to set it up?

We made it as easy as it’s possible. All you have to do is download and fill out this authorization form and bring/send/fax it to the office. We will set everything up on your account, so you don’t have to worry about your dues anymore!

Is it mandatory? What if I’d like to pay with check or cash?

Although we strongly encourage it (it saves us a lot of time and a bit of money) the new method is voluntary. If you prefer to keep doing things the old way you are welcome to do so.

If you have any questions about this new feature please contact Tomasz (by email or 319 804 8408).

Last call for bonus credit on $500.00 advance payments is May 15, 2010

Friday, April 23rd, 2010

The Board has been pleased with the response of members to this program and wishes to thank all those who have made use of it, and thereby helped the Club.  Advance payments collected in this way got us through a difficult financial winter.  With the advent of spring and good flying weather we are going to “put away” this incentive with the idea we might revive it again in the winter or at other times when flying slows down.

For those who have been thinking about taking advantage of this incentive there are still a few weeks left.  As a reminder, on February 10, 2010, the Board settled on the final language as below:  “Members will receive a 10% bonus if $500 or more in $100 increments is paid on their account in advance (as long as their account has either a “0″ or credit balance).”
