Green Castle to Hold Antique, Vintage & Experimental Fly-In/Drive-In June 5
Come see antique, vintage, and experimental airplanes, pick up lunch and ice cream, take a wagon tour of aircraft on display, get a ride in one of the club’s airplanes, learn how to get involved in aviation, and participate in raffles for great prizes from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 5 (rain date is Saturday, June 12), at Green Castle Aero Club, 2154 250th St NW, Oxford, Iowa.
Admission is free but donations to the Green Castle Foundation will be gladly accepted.
Everyone is welcome!
Attention Antique, Vintage & Experimental Aircraft Owners: We’d love to have you showcase your plane and possibly win one of three awards: Long Distance (furthest distance flown to attend the event), People’s Choice (most popular, as voted by attendees), and Oldest Airplane. We consider Antique aircraft as built before 1941, and Vintage between 1942-1960. Registration is free and includes two free lunches per airplane. Space is limited so sign up soon to reserve your spot by visiting https://www.eventbrite.com/e/green-castle-antique-vintage-experimental-fly-in-tickets-148920799119. Questions? Call Green Castle at (319) 545-2101.
