Gary Lust

Retired wildlife research pilot in the Northern Rockies, based in Driggs, Idaho for 16 years.  Have been flying for 49 years, with a strong interest in the flying and restoration of vintage aircraft. 16,000+ hours flight time , 15,000 in tailwheels.  Career highlights include 13,000 hours of flying Maules, mostly low level, in the Mountains of Idaho and Wyoming, participation of four American Barnstormer Tours with our 1929 Travel Air 4000, and the privilege of flying 3 very rare pre-1931 aircraft, owned by a museum in Minneapolis, on the 2003 re-enactment of the Ford Reliability National Air Tours. I have been an occasional to part time flight instructor, CFII, since 1980, and enjoy doing it, but make no particular claim to be good at it.
