OTHER BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT: Randy Stannard, Tim Scheer, Chris Lenz, and Karo Stigler The minutes of the Board of Directors meeting from April 15, 2020 were read by Karo. Jim moved with second by Randy that the Minutes be approved as read. Vote taken; Motion carried. OLD BUSINESS: 1. Treasurer's Report: Randy reported money’s getting tight again because 17U’s [super] major overhaul has been very expensive. 2. Aircraft: Chris flew off the Ercoupe’s ADS-B requirement this week. Chris said the pilot MUST have both transponder breaker and the nav lights on ... not just the transponder switch, but the breaker also. Dave washed the Chief Sunday and Andy and his daughters washed 4455 last week. Both planes look great! Thanks to all! 3. Rick said we already mowed once this season and that the airport is looking pretty good right now. 4. Right inside the office door by the tablets where we record fuel, are sanitizer wipes for the interior of planes and hand sanitizer for hands. NEW BUSINESS: 1. Discussion was held re the amount we pay Rosemary and Willie for rent. For years, rent has been $1500 per month; however, when times were real hard, Don dropped it down to $1000 per month. We later bumped it back up to the regular amount of $1500 per month Chris moved with second by Randy that we adjourn. Vote taken; Motion carried. Treasurer's Report: Randy reported money is in a little better shape than we were last week as we’ve received a couple of advance payments made. 2. Aircraft: Rick said Mike changed tires and did a little work on N4455; no change on Arrow, the Chief has been flying a little bit, the Ercoupe is getting ADS-B hours flown off. Rick’s putting 4455's engine back on the airframe and put the jugs on and we can possibly get it back next week. 3. Ground School: Joe’s taken over as instructor. 4. We may need mowing done next week. We have two mowers ready to go. 5. Due to poor weather, CFII Grant Sanders hasn’t been approved yet to instruct at Green Castle. NEW BUSINESS: 1. Shawn Rhinehart would like disinfectant wipes in the planes and in the office. 2. Dean said he has copies of information available if anybody is interested in a ride and ground school Young Eagles program ... they can start program now. This is for ages 8-17. Treasurer's Report: Randy reported money is dwindling 2. Aircraft: 4455 no squawks, Mike will put a new tire on it and take care of the oil change. The Arrow is available so we need to get down there and fly it. People are flying the Chief. Re the Ercoupe, Tony fixed the flutter. The Ercoupe has an ADS-B installed now but it has to have the 30 minutes flown now. 3. Indian Hills won’t be using the Arrow until May 4, instead of April 13. 4. Rick contacted Embry Riddle re their ground school videos, asked if we could use their videos, and they encouraged us to do so. Sri volunteered to answer any questions ground school students may have while doing the course work. 5. Rick said we have a new CFII who’s requesting approval (Grant Sanders). He’ll be moving into our area in about a month. Maddie Hassler (Chinook pilot and rotor instructor) has rejoined the Club. NEW BUSINESS: 1. Rick said we’ll be needing mowing done soon.
