MINUTES OF THE JUNE 12, 2019 BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING

The meeting was called to order by President Rick Treiber at 6:59 p.m.

OTHER BOARD MEMBERS PRESENT:  Randy Stannard, Tim Scheer (with guest from Arizona, Paul Hughes), Chris Lenz, Jim Beeghly, and Karo Stigler

MEMBERS PRESENT:  John Butler, Bob Dunn, Joe DeMaria, Brett, Paige, and Flynn Lenz, Dean Beranek, Jerry Smithey, Robert Ghabel, Larry Clore, and Mark Eads

GUEST:  Paul Kaufmann

The minutes of the June 5, 2019 Board of Directors meeting were read by Karo.  Chris moved with second by Randy that the minutes be accepted as read.  Vote taken; Motion carried.

OLD AND NEW BUSINESS:
1 Treasurer's Report:  Randy reported we’re still in good shape.  All bills are current.  A lot of fun flying has been going on.

2. All airplanes are up and flying.

3. It was a beautiful day and a wonderful celebration of life at the event held for our beloved founder Don Nelson as he took his last flight on June 11, 2019.  Thank you all who attended or who wanted to attend but were unable to.  Chris moved with second by Jim that we give Chef Johnita $300  for all the setting up, cooking, and cleaning up that she did for the event.  Vote taken; Motion carried. Discussion was held re the beginning of Green Castle Aero Club, Ltd. and more stories were told about interactions with Don by John Butler, Rick, Karo, Bob, Tim.
